I’m a follower of God, a husband, a father, a son, a dog owner, a photographer, and a business systems consultant.
I am an elder in the Presbyterian church and pray to The Lord that I might follow in His teachings though I am completely not worthy.
I am a husband for 24 years to the most fantastic woman on the planet. Again, I am completely not worthy.
We have two children/adults, Jeff Jr. is 24, in the Air Force, and married to a great girl, Monica. Joanna is 18 and still at home. She is attending community college, working full time and trying to decide where life will lead her next.
I am a son to parents who have supported me through think and thin, good times and times when I’m sure I was pretty hard to love. I am also fortunate to have wonderful in-laws.
I am the owner of Rufus, a weimaraner. Actually, he thinks he is a person and acts like it. Like clockwork at 6 p.m. every day he starts pacing because it’s time for his walk – EVERY DAY! We get aggravated with him but I’m sure one day we will look back and say, “Thank you, Rufus. You forced us to walk and stay healthy when it would have been very easy to veg out instead.
I am a photographer. I think I’ve always been a photographer. Even before I had a camera I saw compositions all around me. Now I am continuously learning to artfully capture those compositions digitally. I enjoy photographing people because it gives me the opportunity to get to know them. Honestly, that’s what I like the most. I have been operating Jeff Mason Photography in Brandon, Florida for six years.
I am a business systems consultant. I received a degree in finance and worked as a corporate cash manager with an aptitude for systems. With that experience I began consulting to companies implementing multi-million dollar financial software systems. This lead to business process re-engineering work outside the realm of computer systems.
