Mrs. Martha’s 90th Birthday | Tampa Family Photographer

Earlier this month I had the wonderful honor of creating a family portrait in honor of Mrs. Martha’s 90th birthday.  There was family from out of town as well as locals.   What an enjoyable experience it was.  Martha showed me all of her family pictures and told me about the countries they had visited.  It was remarkable all of the traveling that they have done during their lives.

Now as I have mentioned, this is Martha’s 90th birthday, right?  Well, Mrs. Martha was determined to enjoy it to the fullest…as she took a ride on the rope swing in the back yard!  Personally, she scared me to death but I get the feeling that this is Martha’s M.O.

Happy Birthday, it was truly an enjoyable afternoon.  Here are a couple of pictures from the day

Baby Sarah

One of the great things about meeting a bride and groom and photographing their wedding is that they become a mom and dad.  I photographed Kimberly+David’s wedding in 2008, it was a super fun wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa.  Kim and I have been kept in touch through facebook so I knew that they were expecting.  Well, in December Kim called me to say that they would be in Tampa and would I photograph their new baby girl, Sarah.  Uh, of course!   It was so nice to see Kim and David again and to meet the beautiful little Miss Sarah.  I look forward to being their family photographer for many years to come.

Here are a few of Sarah’s pictures.

Keanna – Class of 2009 | Tampa Senior Photos

I’ve known Keanna for several years and was excited when she asked if she could be a Senior Spokesmodel for Jeff Mason Photography. Keanna goes to Brandon High School. She is originally from Slidell, LA and came to Tampa after hurricane Katrina to stay with her aunt and uncle who are our good friends. Well, after the schools reopened in Slidell she had already settled into Brandon and didn’t want to leave her friends, so she stayed…and we are glad she did.

Being a Senior Spokesmodel Keanna received a 10 page 5×5 photobook and photo referral cards to hand out to friends. She will be earning discounts on her Senior pictures and will be receiving gift certificates for hair and nail salons and stores like Abercrombie and Hollister when her friends book their senior pictures with Jeff Mason Photography.

Here’s a video with a few pictures from her session.

Maya, Erica+T

Today I had family session with T and his family.  They drove over to Tampa from the Florida east coast and I’m honored that they would come that far to have family pictures made by me.  Maya is a real cutie.  She is one smart little girl, knows the alphabet, colors, numbers and her address by heart.  On top of that she has wonderful manners; Erica and T are excellent parents!  The session was a lot of fun, we took our time and let Maya get used to the studio.  Between taking the pictures and then going through almost 350 images to make their selections, we spent about 4 hours together.  Here are a couple from the selections they made.
